Another day in the life.....Sunday morning, couldn't sleep.  off to the kitchen for some hot tea and what do I find?!?  Peppermint and Periwinkle up to great mischief!  Peppermint is lounging in a bowl of PEPPERMINT marshmallows and Periwinkle is eating a cookie atop the coffee maker!  The kids are going to love this!!!!


I have written this three times now and manage to delete it accidently every time!  So I am going to say this.....Thank you God for my life and all that it is!  I am so grateful!  You have blessed me beyond belief!

Another day in the life......lots of decisions to be made today.  so very difficult.  God is our refuge....I know thru Him...we will all be good.  Excited to be at the end of these darn production orders....about to be creating for Christmas!!!  very exciting.  wil post pics soon.  Blessings....Jenny

another day in the life....

It is Monday.....another start to a beautiful week at Spirit Song.  I am going to start this blog...finally, after two years or more of not !

I am so very thankful for the opportunity to serve God in the way He has gifted me.  I absolutely love what I do!  This being said...it has been a difficult year, production- wise in the studio.  We made some decisions this year, order wise, that we prayed about and felt that we were in line with what the Lord wanted from us.  Well.....I think we were , but not for the reason we thought.  He showed me that running this business,with production in mind, is not good for me, as an artist.  We have sent out alot of pottery this year, but the creative aspect has not been there for me.  The quality has been great, but it has not been fun.  I love to make the one of a kind pieces, the ones where creativity just flows....and I am not just sitting and doing the same thing over and over and over and over.........

Praying for organization of thoughts for the business.....have given up being organized!  just doesn't work for me in the worlds sense of organization.  But I am happy with it!!!
